Diagnose and resolve common issues
Diagnostic Tool
Client Capabilities Test
Test browser WebRTC, WebSocket, audio, and network before connecting
Connectivity
WebRTC, NAT, and firewalls
My browser says it can't connect
Verify your network allows outbound UDP and access to TURN/STUN. Try another network or a wired connection. Confirm the gateway is online. Run the Client Test to diagnose issues.
Control UI is slow or unresponsive
Close background tabs, use a modern browser, and ensure the gateway host has enough CPU. Prefer wired Ethernet to Wi‑Fi.
Audio
Devices & quality
I can’t hear anything
Allow audio permissions in the browser. On the gateway, select the correct audio input/output devices and verify levels. Check the radio’s AF/IF output.
PTT not working
Ensure you have TX permission, verify CI‑V/PTT settings on the gateway, and confirm the radio’s transmit inhibit is disabled.
